C4 Engine Maps

I have decided to show everyone what I have done in C4 within these past few months. I did not really try to go on the graphical side but more of the physical side.

I am using Build 145 at the moment with JamesH’s PhysX Integration.

Flooding House:
This is a really simple and plain house with a few physics objects (1600 roughly), there are stacks of spheres that collapse when
the slightest thing touches them. When I buy myself a PysX Card I will at least double the stacks to make a real flood.
Min-Max FPS – 7-11
Physics Objects: 1600 Roughly

Rolling Secrets:
I have posted this map earlier but have changed the entire map in practically every way. This map has taken 4 months of work to get it looking like this. If there is enough interest I will make a full walkthrough on how it works.
Min-Max FPS – 28-45
Physics Objects: 1293

Brick Wall Test:
Min-Max FPS – 15-17
Physics Objects: 339
A simple brick wall, very simple level. Though because of the dynamics its always fun.

Brick Wall Test
Ball Add (don’t really know what to call it)
Min-Max FPS – 20-25
Physics Objects: 1135 Roughly
Two ramps filled with spheres lead into a bowl. I must admit that I have not done much with the texturing but later on I will.

Ball Add
Bowling (cant think of a name yet)
Min-Max FPS – 8-12
Physics Objects: 1076
Roughly 600 spheres roll down a ramp smashing into a few colorful jenga based towers. This is pretty much the same type of house I used in “Flooding House”.

Bowling Test
Marble Floods(cant think of a proper name yet)
Min-Max FPS – 16-26
Physics Objects: 1076
An edit of “Rolling Secrets”. There is only one starting path for the spheres and there are more. Complete with blockers and some major suprises.

Water Carrier
Min-Max FPS – 50-60
Physics Objects: 342
A “Proof Of Concept” demo. This is a vehicle made out of joint parts which carries the bowl of fluids. Due to a limatation the blue spheres are the representation of the water. Unfortunately this is not drivable yet. Always destroyed differently every time.

Watch Tower
Min-Max FPS – 10-20
Physics Objects: 869
Attempting to make a building I decided to make something a bit more simpler. The marbles are just to brighten up the picture:

Cable Cart
Min-Max FPS – 60
Physics Objects: 14
I had an idea to create a cable cart, I have it working but its unstable. Hopfully I can find a way to fix this later
